How should I prepare?

On the lead up I ask that you: •Arrive well rested+Eat a solid meal within 2 hours prior to your appointment •Are freshly showered •Avoid alcohol 24 hours before •Never arrive on an empty stomach.

How much will it cost?

Once we have discussed a design/concept I will provide you with a quote. Pricing depends on factors like Size PlacementComplexity. For smaller projects I charge by the piece.

What should I bring?

It’s best for you to be as comfortable as you can, Feel free to bring a change of clothes/headphones—zoning out can be a great distraction from any pain during your appointment. I advise bringing water/sugary drinks with you, as your blood sugar levels will drop and these will make you feel better.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, deposits are taken to secure all appointments. Deposits are deducted from the final amount at the end of your tattoo. If for any reason you need to rearrange and have provided more than 48-hours notice, we can transfer your deposit to a new date better suited for you. Although failure to notify me of a need to cancel/reschedule will forfeit the deposit.

How do I look after my tattoo?

You should treat your tattoo like an open wound. It is crucial to read and follow Aftercare Instructions to ensure a smooth healing process. On average it takes around 34 weeks for your tattoo to heal, and a full month for it to look settled. Touch ups can be required for several different reasons. I am happy to touch up my tattoos because I want them to look the best they can for as long as they can. If booked within a reasonable time frame of your initial appointment these are offered free of charge— Otherwise the cover of a minimum setup may be required.

How long before I can go on holiday?

It is recommended that you avoid sun exposure for at least 4 weeks after being tattooed. You should also avoid submerging your tattoo in water (swimming) for at least 2 weeks. Always apply SPF 50/cover your tattoo whilst in the sun.

Is there anything to avoid whilst healing?

  • Avoid having long showers/baths while your tattoo is healing. Long durations of soaking will loosen scabs that have formed, This can have a detrimental effect on the healing process.
  • Don’t apply anything to your tattoo without first making sure that your hands are clean, and that you have washed the tattoo well before putting any more cream on! You never want to be putting new cream over old cream.

How do I pay?

Cash is preferred for the remaining after the deposit, although I can accept PayPal/Bank Transfer on the day
